They called "yesterday's show of brutal violence and lawlessness by state and local authorities on their property" a last and desperate move.

They also announced that they arrested them in the absence of valid legal reasons to remove them from their property, but also that the youngest members of their family are still in custody due to alleged "failure to comply with the health regulations for the suppression of dangerous infectious diseases from Article 287 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro." .

The Đurišići explain that, in agreement with their legal representative, due to the pandemic that also affected Montenegro, whose devastating consequences are impossible to predict, they decided to show a higher level of reason and responsibility than the mayor of Podgorica until the end of that danger:
