Senad Planić (45) from Brodarevo and Đ. Šećković (24) was arrested last night at the border between Bijelo Polje and Pljevlje.
The Police Directorate told Vijest that the Bjelopolje police officers, acting on operational information, controlled the car in which Planić and Šećković were.
"And they found a 12mm 'Baikal' brand rifle, as well as two 12mm 'Zastava' brand rifles, which they confiscated."
"Operational findings indicated that the SP is wanted by the Republic of Serbia for the commission of several criminal acts.
Through the Joint Center for Police Cooperation in Trebinje, the Directorate of the Border Police of the Republic of Serbia submitted checks for SP to the border police in Bijelo Polje, and it was learned that a national search was launched for him in the Republic of Serbia due to the suspicion that he had committed four criminal acts in that territory ", it was said from UP.
They explained that Planić was arrested and that two misdemeanor charges were filed against him due to offenses under the Aliens Act - failure to report residence and illegal residence.
"The Misdemeanor Court fined him EUR 1.500 and a decision will be made for him to cancel his stay in Montenegro and he was handed over to the Border Police of the Republic of Serbia at the Gostun Border Crossing.
Also, through operational processing, the police came to know that the SP temporarily used a building in the town of Stožer in Bijelo Polje, owned by Đ.Š.
Acting on the order of the Basic Court in Bijelo Polje, a search of this building was carried out, during which the Bijelo Polje police found 18 cartridges of 12 mm hunting ammunition and 17 pieces of 7.9 mm live ammunition.
