Radovan Rakočević from Bjelo Polje was arrested today and detained for up to 72 hours at the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Bjelo Polje, because he shared news from the Serbian tabloid "alo.rs" on his Facebook profile, which stated that the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović was infected coronavirus.
"The criminal report states that the suspect committed the above-mentioned criminal offense by publishing a text on his Facebook profile with the title "Milo Đukanović infected with the coronavirus. In a difficult situation, he asked for help from Russia and France" and thus caused panic among the part of the population of Montenegro who are followers of his profile", the prosecution announced.
Rakočević is the president of the Youth Network of the Democratic Front (DF) in Bijelo Polje.
