The detention rooms in the Danilovgrad police station need to be urgently improved, and the Property Administration has announced that they will do so tomorrow.
This was announced by the Council for Citizen Control of Police Work.
They emphasized that the citizens of Danilovgrad respect the prescribed measures for the prevention of infectious diseases, and the police officers behave lawfully and professionally when communicating with them.
This was assessed by the Council for Citizen Control of Police Work, whose member, Associate Professor Branislav Radulović, checked the respect for human rights in the application of police powers in the Danilovgrad Security Department.
"Temporary anti-epidemic measures significantly limit and encroach on basic rights and freedoms, which is why constant and effective supervision is needed," said the Council.

They explained that Radulović visited OB Danilovgrad in order to directly observe the actions of the police and respect for human rights standards in connection with detention in police premises.
"Chief Marko Kalezić showed a professional and responsible attitude towards civil supervision. In OB Danilovgrad, the necessary care is taken to protect the health of police officers and citizens. The council checked the conditions of the premises for the detention of citizens and concluded that their urgent improvement is necessary. At the time of the visit to "There were no detained persons. The Council contacted the Property Administration on the spot, which announced that it would send a technical-engineering team tomorrow in order to bring the two detention rooms up to the required standards," the Council announced.
