The police in Podgorica arrested five people who violated several measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and at the same time committed the criminal offense of violent behavior, the Police Administration announced.
"SM (27), DM (25), IG (25), PP (27) and VU (22) were arrested on suspicion of having committed criminal acts of non-compliance with health regulations for the prevention of dangerous infectious diseases and violent behavior," the UP announced.
As stated in the announcement, these persons entered a store in the village of Kržanja and physically attacked the valsnik and another person who was there, inflicting visible injuries on them.
"In addition, they were breaking the inventory of this store. Upon learning of this event, the police located and detained all five persons," the announcement states.
The Ulcinj police, as they say, filed criminal charges yesterday during the day against three people, two of whom are of security interest, for the criminal offense of not complying with health regulations for the suppression of a dangerous infectious disease.
"The police deprived the persons of security interest NS (29) and MS (26) of their freedom who violated the measure prohibiting the presence and gathering of more than one person in a public place," the announcement states.
"Due to the gathering in a residential building of persons who are not members of the same household, a criminal complaint was filed against KA (19). He was found with four other persons in a house on Ada Bojana," concluded the UP statement.
