Localized fire in the village of Jabuka

Kolašina firefighters localized the fire in the village of Jabuka. One house and several poles of the low-voltage network were threatened.

Since it is a very inaccessible terrain, the firefighters put out the fire with knapsacks.

"We managed to defend Milosevic's house and to localize the fire around it. We also saved four poles of the low-voltage network from the fire. The fire is spreading towards the hill where it is destroying the beech forest. We are powerless here because it is an inaccessible terrain," said Željko Darmanović, commander of the Protection Service.
