Miloš Miljanović (33), an alleged member of the Kavačac criminal clan, was arrested in Belgrade on suspicion that he ran into a cafe in Vračar yesterday, armed and masked, and then escaped from it, after the five-member team at the table, towards which he headed, managed to run away.
The Serbian police charged him with the criminal offense of illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.
According to Vijesti, the Serbian police are checking whether he tried to kill a man from Nikšić and a man from Belgrade who were sitting in the bar with three friends. The two are allegedly close to the Skaljar criminal clan.
During the search of the apartment where Miljanović was arrested, the Serbian police found an automatic pistol "Uzi" with a silencer, a silicone mask and the clothes he was wearing when entering the cafe.

The Serbian media report that the local police, in cooperation with the competent prosecutor's office, are intensively working to clarify all the circumstances of this event.
Miljanović was detained for up to 48 hours and he will be brought to the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
