Podgorica police, in cooperation with the Customs Administration of Montenegro, as reported, prevented the smuggling of eight kilograms of marijuana and arrested MK (31), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"During the joint control and inspection of the cargo motor vehicle driven by MK, eight packages of the narcotic drug marijuana were found, which were confiscated. In addition, the cargo motor vehicle that was used during the commission of the crime, travel documents, money, as well as and means of communication," the Police Administration announced.
Due to the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, MK was deprived of his liberty and brought to the competent state prosecutor with a criminal complaint.
