The Nikšić police arrested NK (22) from Nikšić for belittling police officers, the Police Administration announced.
The statement adds that the police, taking measures and actions aimed at identifying the persons who on May 13 around 21 p.m., on Sava Kovačevića Square in Nikšić and nearby streets, caused disorder and disrupted public order and peace, identified the NK, which they claim disparaged police officers.
"The competent state prosecutor was informed of the above-mentioned event, who declared that there were no elements of a criminal offense in the actions of the reported person, and a misdemeanor charge was filed against NK," the statement of the Police Administration points out.
It is stated that NK was arrested for committing a misdemeanor under Article 11 of the Law on Public Order and Peace - obstructing or belittling an official in the performance of official duties, and was brought to the competent court.
