The police arrested Predrag Spasojević (47) on suspicion of having committed a misdemeanor against the commander of the Danilovgrad Police Station, Slavko Đurović.
As reported by the Police Administration, Spasojević sent threatening words to Đurović.
"A request was filed against PS (47) from Danilovgrad for the initiation of misdemeanor proceedings for a misdemeanor committed under Article 11 of the Law on Public Order and Peace - obstructing or belittling an official in the performance of an official act, and he was deprived of his liberty. This person is in the official premises "The Danilovgrad Security Department sent threatening words to the commander of the Danilovgrad Police Station, Slavko Đurović," according to the police statement.
Spasojević's family members told "Vijesti" that he was taken into custody today from the premises of the Emergency Medical Service to the Danilovgrad Security Department.
They stated that in this way the police prevented Spasojević from filing a criminal complaint against the commander of the Danilovgrad police.
Spasojević claims that in the Danilovgrad police station he was grabbed by the neck, threatened and insulted by the commander of the Danilovgrad Security Department, Slavko Đurović.
The news is waiting for official answers from the Police Administration, while the Danilovgrad Police Department claims unofficially that Spasojević threatened Đurović.
He said that the police called him because of his status on the social network Facebook, although he had given a statement on the same occasion the day before at the Podgorica Security Center.
Yesterday, Spasojević was questioned at CB Podgorica because of the status he wrote after the photos from Budva were published, which show a policeman holding a knee to the neck of local official Mladen Mikijelj, while the man from Budva is lying on the ground.
"Since the government uses methods like in America, will the citizens, like in America, set fire to the police station?" wrote the president of the Autonomous Civic Movement.
"When I came and clarified with the officers that I had already given a statement and that the case was under investigation, they said that I had to see Đurović for something. As soon as I entered his office, he started insulting me and threatening me, telling me that he would he taught me not to hang up on the chief who called me the day before, with an unknown number, and then grabbed me by the neck," claims Spasojević.
He said that the policeman then told him that "they will show him, but in another place".
"I told him that he is free to beat me if he wants and that I will not defend myself, because it is fasting, and that we will see after fasting. He continued with insults and threats, I said that I cannot be interrogated twice for the same thing, on two occasions place and went to the emergency room, in order to file a complaint with the medical documentation. While I was waiting for the report, the police came and handed me a summons to call immediately, because they probably figured out that I was going to file a report, so now they are going to seize it and file the first," he said.
