In connection with the murder of the Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galicia, the Police Directorate did not receive direct requests from the Malta Police, it was announced on the Twitter account of the Police Directorate.
"The checks carried out established that the murdered journalist and the YF suspect did not visit Montenegro," said Veljović.
"Malta police did not request any checks from the police administration for the Montenegrin company that manages the Možura wind farm, Možura Wind Park doo, nor the persons in that company," claims Veljović.
The Director of the Police Administration said that they did not receive any requests from the Maltese police for checks on companies that are mentioned to be connected to VE "Možura", nor for possible connections with state officials of Montenegro.
"In the case of concrete requests from the Malta police in connection with the case of the murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, the Police Directorate will act in a timely manner and will prioritize those requests in its work," said Veljović.
