A criminal complaint was filed against the editor of the Borba portal, Dražen Živković, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of tax and contribution evasion.
"Officials of the Criminal Police Sector, in cooperation with the competent Basic State Prosecutor's Office, yesterday filed a criminal complaint against D.Ž. (40), the editor of the Borba portal, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of tax and contribution evasion. It is suspected that D.Ž. , the founder and authorized and responsible person in the non-governmental association "Zapis" from Podgorica, committed the criminal offense charged against him by avoiding the payment of taxes, contributions and other prescribed duties by concealing data on legally acquired income for the year 2019. it was announced from the Police Administration (UP).
They say that he did not submit the IOPPD form for the same year and "thereby avoided declaring a tax obligation based on the payment of personal income tax in the amount of 25.000 euros, and which funds form the basis for determining tax obligations based on taxes and contributions on personal income, thereby causing damage to the budget of Montenegro in the amount of 2.250 euros."
