Due to the creation of a criminal organization and the planning of the liquidation of Nemanja Zurovac from Novlja, special prosecutor Saša Čađenović filed an indictment against five people and submitted it to the High Court in Podgorica.
This was officially confirmed to "Vijesta" by the public relations adviser of that court, Aida Muzurović.
"SDT submitted an indictment against ZM, KV, SVJŽ and JR due to reasonable suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of "creating a criminal organization and the criminal offense of murder by incitement", said Muzurović.
In addition to him, Krsto Vujić, Slobodan Vico and Jovan Žmukić and Jovo Riznić from Herceg Novi are also on the list of accused.
From the announcement of the Police Administration, on the occasion of the extradition of Mrvaljević, it follows that Milan Kankaraš was hired for the murder of Zurovec.
"ZM is suspected of having created a criminal organization on the territory of Montenegro, which in the period from 2018, in the territory of the municipality of Herceg Novi, dealt with the possession, transfer and sale of intoxicating drugs cocaine and marijuana in large quantities. Also, the named person is suspected of at the beginning of 2019 in Herceg Novi, deliberately incited the suspect KM to commit the criminal offense of murder to the detriment of ZN and on that occasion obtained a pistol of an unknown brand," the statement reads.
However, Kankaraš is not on the list of suspects, but will appear as a cooperating witness in this proceeding.
During the investigation, he fully confessed to the crime and described the way the criminal organization operates.
Mrvaljević, according to operational police data, is considered a person close to the Skaljar criminal clan, while Vujić, who is on the run, is suspected of having organized the murder of Šćepan Roganović.
