At least two people, shooting from two different weapons, participated in the liquidation of Nemanja Prelević and Danilo Peković from Podgorica, a source close to the investigation told "Vijesta".
One of the interlocutors of "Vijesti" claims that the exact time of death has yet to be determined, but that the collected data point to the conclusion that the crime took place the night before the bodies of the young men were found - on Sunday around 19 pm, in the town of Ljevorecke Tuzi.
According to the same information, Prelevic allegedly opened the door of his cottage to the killers on Saturday evening - after they fired several bullets at him from a firearm, they continued to shoot the XNUMX-year-old Pekovic.
It was unofficially announced by the police that the killers fired about 30 bullets.

They said that Nemanja Prelevic was not a member of any criminal group, but that he came to Veruša with Peković to rest.
One of the family members said that they heard from him during the day on Saturday.

As he did not answer on Sunday, his wife Aleksandra called a neighbor from the village to check if everything was okay with Nemanja and if his car was in front of the house.
Just a few minutes later, as told by "Vijesti" interlocutors, the committee called Aleksandra and told her that Nemanja had been killed and to call the police.
"I didn't hear anything until last night, until I heard the commissaries there in the meadow... I didn't go there, they told me that they saw this man on the doorstep and then when the police came, we found out that there was another person inside. By the way, they were there for two or three days, they were walking this way, that way across the meadow, the last time I saw them was on Friday, when they left behind this house for the Tara route," neighbor Ljubica Šaban told Television Vijesti.

Senior State Prosecutor Zoran Vučinić told TV Vijesti that he could not confirm the findings of the journalists - that the victims were allegedly close to the Kavačac criminal clan.
"I can't claim that, I don't have such knowledge... According to the information I received from the police, the persons are persons of security interest," said Prosecutor Vučinić yesterday.

A family member of the murdered Prelevic says that allegedly one of the locals heard gunshots on Saturday, around 21:30 p.m.
"But he thought that the mines were exploding at the highway construction site."
The same interlocutor claims that the victim's wife called the man who previously sold them the house on Veruša, since Nemanja did not answer.
"She called to give her the neighbor's phone number, so that she wouldn't have to go from Podgorica with her two small children to look for him. She called him and asked if the car was in front of the house, he said yes. She asked him if he could go to them and tell him to call... He left and after 3-4 minutes he called her and told her to call the police, because Nemanja was killed".
The interlocutor of "Vijesti" claims that Danilo Peković went with him before, as well as on Thursday when they went together...
"Everything we know does not lead to the fact that it could end up like this, he had no threats, nor any jobs that could end up like this... He was certainly not in the clans"
He said that Nemanja has been running a mobile phone shop for her for years:
"Well, I can see on the cameras that he was in the shop every day from 10 in the morning to 10 in the evening. That was his relationship - from the shop to the house, he didn't drink, he didn't do drugs, he didn't go out in the city... He was quick to fight, but nothing to the point where it ended like this," he said. is one of his family members.
The prosecutor was informed about the shooting on Sunday, around 18:30
"Around 18:30 p.m., I was informed by the duty service of the Podgorica Security Center - that in the village of Ljevoručka Tuzi, firearms had been used, and that two people had been injured, after which I went together with the officers of the CB Podgorica to carry out investigation. On that occasion, in the evening hours of the same day, the scene was secured, but due to inadequate conditions for conducting the investigation, it was postponed until today (Monday) and on that occasion, traces were removed for the necessary expertise, in order to identify the perpetrator of the crime. We have information that Nemanja Prelević and Danilo Peković died, whose bodies will be sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Further measures and actions are being taken in order to identify the perpetrators of the criminal act in question", prosecutor Vučinić told "Vijesta".
