The Podgorica Basic State Prosecutor's Office is establishing the facts of the incident that happened the night before last in the Podgorica part of Preko Morača, when, according to unofficial information, Igor Damjanović and his friend Miro Bubanja were attacked, Vijesta was told from several sources.
Damjanović wrote on Facebook that they were beaten - because they are Montenegrins.
The Police Directorate told Vijesti that the incident had been reported to their officers, and that the prosecutor had been informed about it.
"The acting prosecutor ordered that surveillance camera footage (from nearby bars) be taken out, in order to establish all the facts," said one of Vijesti's interlocutors.
Damjanović wrote on the social network Facebook that he ate with his minor son and a friend in a fast food establishment, and that after they left the place, he asked for a lighter from three men who were in front of a nearby cafe.
He claims that one of them told him: "We have, but it's Serbian. Do you mind", after which he replied that he didn't mind.
He wrote that then another guy from that group approached him and started cursing and insulting him, telling him among other things: "How are you not ashamed to go to Pljevlja and Berane and play Montenegrins there..."
He said that then he realized that he knew that guy and that it was A.Ž. from Pljevlja.
He says that he approached him, kissed him, told him to calm down, but that he continued to shout, and that he attacked and punched him when his wife A.Ž came. and tried to calm him down.
He also stated that his friend then tried to protect him, but then he was attacked by two others from the group, and that they inflicted serious injuries on his friend, but that he managed to fight back.
He explained that he then went to get something for self-defense, but that the attacker caught up with him and punched him in the head again...
"Everything that was happening was watched by my minor son who is only 12 years old," said Damjanović.
