An officer of the National Security Agency (ANB), Ljubiša Asanović, was suspended because he entered the cell where Branislav Brano Mićunović was detained without the authority of the elders, it was reported unofficially to "Vijesta".
According to the same source, Asanović visited the arrested Nikšićan, as he explained, in the detention facilities because they are friends.
"He was suspended, and his badge and gun were immediately taken away, and disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him," said the interlocutor of "Vijesti".
Mićunović, who has been described for years as the head of the Montenegrin underground, and his friends Sava Vujović and Srđan Mićunović, were arrested on January 6, after officers of the Police Administration found two pistols in their vehicle.
The vehicle was driven by Branislav Mićunović, and "Vijesti" was then told that his friends took the blame for possessing illegal weapons.
However, all three were charged with illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials.
After two days, they were released to defend themselves.
