Goran Brajović (25) from Podgorica, accused of planning the liquidations, had his arm broken yesterday in the Investigation Prison.
This was allegedly done by the detainee Dragan Šukurica (28) from Nikšić during the fight, unofficially from the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS) told "News".
According to the same information, the fight was preceded by a verbal argument, during which Brajović cursed the "dead mother" of Nikšić.
The interlocutor from the UIKS said that they informed the police about the incident in the Investigation Prison and that it was not a question of the continuation of the conflict between criminal clans, but that "comrades quarreled".
"Brajović first cursed Šukurica, and then he hit him. The prosecution will determine how his hand bone was broken. According to our records, both of them are members of an organized criminal group, they go out for a walk together and until today they have not had any problems with each other", said the interlocutor of "Vijesti".
He pointed out that Brajović and Šukurica, in addition to criminal charges, will face disciplinary charges for violating the Rulebook on House Rules.
Brajović was arrested at the beginning of August last year, in Nikšić, and the police then also handcuffed two Colombian citizens.
They are on trial on charges of being members of a criminal organization that operated on an international level, formed with the aim of committing an unspecified number of serious crimes against life and limb.
The indictment states that in early 2020, the defendants became members of a criminal group whose head is currently unidentified.
That group, as the investigation showed, operated on the territory of several countries - Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Turkey.
Šukurica from Nikšić was arrested for theft, illegal possession of weapons, and the police once chased him with a boat in the Budva water area, after he jumped into the sea and swam towards the island of Sveti Nikola.
He was also arrested in Budva, in a major police operation in October 2017 on the Montenegrin coast. Then members of the elite police units searched the facilities used by 24 persons of security interest and detained or arrested 24 of them.
