The Podgorica police shed light on three criminal acts and submitted criminal charges against three persons to the competent state prosecutor's office, the Police Administration announced.
"IK (40) is charged with the criminal offense of fraud, who is suspected of having misled an elderly person and damaged her in the amount of 950 euros," the text from that institution states.
It is added that the police officers also submitted a criminal complaint to the prosecutor's office against Ž.V. (30) from Beran and HN (35) from Bijelo Polje, on suspicion of having committed criminal acts of forgery and misuse of credit cards and non-cash payment cards to the detriment of one person from Podgorica.
"The victim lost his payment card, which the finder photographed and published on a social network, when the suspects downloaded the personal data of the victim from the social network and misused it by, as is suspected, making payments from the victim's account to user accounts for online betting in the amount of 210 euros," the Police Administration said in a statement.
