The leader of the People's Movement, Miodrag Daka Davidović, announced that, as a former member of the security services, he responsibly claims that the attempt to assassinate him and Bishop Joaniki was professionally organized, and that the government in Serbia and its services knew from the beginning who was behind the act.
Today, Davidović was questioned by the Nikšić police, where he was summoned for the statement that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was allegedly behind the assassination in December 2019 in Belgrade. Davidović was heard in two cases based on a request from Serbia - because of the claim that Vučić was behind the attempt to kill him, and also in the case for economic crime.
He reminds that on the night of the assassination, a large number of police officers were present in the Belgrade hotel "Crowne Plaza", because a meeting of accredited ambassadors was in progress.
"Soon after that unfortunate event in New Belgrade, a burned Renault vehicle and the remains of a sniper were found in it. As a former member of the security services, I can responsibly claim that it was a professionally organized act. After that, I asked the Serbian authorities for a permit to carry weapons for my personal security, which Bratislav Gašić, the popular 'ceramist' at the head of the BIA, did not allow. This unequivocally meant that I was not safe in Serbia and then I was leaving the country," Davidović said in a statement.

He points out that the first information about the event of December 10, 2019 was published by the competent authorities of Serbia only on March 11 of this year, i.e. 15 months later.
"Igor Bečić, the president of the parliamentary committee for the control of the security services of the Republic of Serbia, said: 'It is known that high-ranking officials of the MUP of Montenegro were involved in that assassination attempt as the principals, the same ones who once made a plan to liquidate the president of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić.' The daily Kurir, otherwise owned by (road robber) Aleksandar Vučić himself, announced through its journalist Mladen Mijatović that Bishop Joaniki and Dak Davidović were shot by people who were training the very popular Velja Nevolja these days. the government in Serbia as well as its services knew from the beginning who was behind the aforementioned act, from which it follows that my safety in the Republic of Serbia is threatened," adds Davidović.
He said that the question arises why, if it is taken into account that the president of Serbia, as the chairman of the defense and security committee, is in possession of all the information about the assassination attempt - for fifteen months, "the details of this event were covered up in addition to my constant name-calling and public insistence to talk more about it".
"Why aren't the perpetrators and perpetrators revealed? Every concealment of an act usually means that someone is RESPONSIBLE for the same. Why did the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who normally announces himself when every criminal act that takes place on the territory of his country, remained silent in my case and is still silent always? Instead, the media is 'concerned' about whether I have collected the debt due to the business-technical cooperation agreement between my family company Neksan and Lola Belgrade. These are some questions I want to get an answer to, but I haven't been able to for almost a year and per day," concluded Davidović.
