VDT BP: We are checking whether incitement of national, racial and religious hatred was committed at the protest in Pljevlja

The Bjeljopolska Higher State Prosecutor's Office is checking whether anyone, during the protest in front of the Pljevlja Security Center, committed a criminal offense that can be linked to inciting national, racial and religious hatred.

"Regarding your question regarding yesterday's gathering in front of the Pljevlja District Court premises, we inform you that this prosecutor's office is aware of the said event and that the prosecutor on duty is in communication with the Pljevlja District Court, who are taking actions within their jurisdiction, and that upon obtaining evidence and the necessary notifications, this prosecutor's office to state whether the actions of a person have elements of a criminal offense within the jurisdiction of this prosecutor's office," answered the prosecutor of that prosecutor's office, Tanja Nišavić.

Last night, several dozen citizens gathered in front of CB Pljevlja protesting the appointment of Haris Đurđević as the new mayor.
