The former Minister of Economy, Branko Vujović, was released to defend himself after being questioned by the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
Vujović was detained this morning by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office in the case of state guarantees for the loans of the Podgorica Aluminum Plant (KAP), along with several other persons.
SDT did not ask for detention, because they gathered all the evidence during the reconnaissance.
Apart from Vujović, special prosecutor Lidija Vukčević issued an arrest warrant for Dragan Kujović, Refik Bojadžić, Darko Konjević, Zoran Martinović, Goran Nikolić, Damir Rašketić, Mitra Bajčeta, Sonja Bećović, Blagoj Miketić, Irene Bokun and Vukica Perović.
Notice: In the original version of the text, it was announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for Sonja Baćović. We apologize to Mrs. Baćović and the readers.
After the hearing, Konjević left the Prosecutor's Office building and did not want to make a statement to journalists.
Today, two women were detained in the building of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, who, according to "Vijesti", are representatives of the commission.
"Vijesti" previously announced that arrests are expected in the case of guarantees for Kombinat aluminum Podgorica.
Vujović was the Minister of Economy in 2009 and 2010, during the period when guarantees were issued.
