Saša Vukčević (27) from Podgorica was arrested on the night between Friday and Saturday, after allegedly attacking and injuring prosecutor Jelena Protić and three members of her family in a Podgorica bar.
"Vijesta" was unofficially told by the Police Administration that a little before 23 pm in the bar on Zabjelo, there was an argument between several people, and then a physical confrontation.
The twenty-seven-year-old allegedly attacked the plaintiff and her company, which was predominantly female, after an argument.
Protić and all three people who were with her suffered injuries and cuts from punches and various objects in the head and hands area, "Vijesti" confirmed.
Prosecutor Protić allegedly has several injuries in the head area - a hematoma.
Vukčević allegedly suffered minor injuries, more precisely, doctors diagnosed him with several scratches, "Vijesti" was told.
"It was reported to the police that shortly before 23 p.m. in the bar... there was an argument between several people, more precisely four people on one side, among whom was the accuser of Protić and Vukčević and his company. Protić and all the people who were with her were sent to the Emergency Block of the Clinical Center, where their injuries were diagnosed. The police informed the prosecutor on duty at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office about the incident, who ordered that Vukčević be arrested and that a criminal complaint be filed against him on suspicion of having committed the crime of violent behavior. Vukčević was examined in the emergency block and it was found that he had minor physical injuries", said the interlocutor of "Vijesti" from the Police Directorate.
A source from the investigation told "Vijesti" that Vukčević said during the hearing that he did not know that Protic was the prosecutor and that he did not quarrel with the people who were with her.
Prosecutor Protić acted in several cases in which officers of the Police Administration were accused of abuse, and she also represented indictments against members of organized criminal groups.
She recently filed an indictment against one of the leaders of the Skaljar criminal clan, accusing him of money laundering.
A few years ago, on the same day that the four-year reorganization plan of the Podgorica Tobacco Plant expired, Protić requested documents on the sale of DKP property from the Commercial Court.
