The Cetinje police arrested one person on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs", and another because marijuana was found in her possession, the Police Administration announced.
"Officers of the Cetinje Security Department controlled the vehicle driven by MK (30) from Budva. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the police found and confiscated about a kilogram of marijuana and 500 grams of the synthetic drug speed. The state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about the event, who ordered that MK be deprived of his liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs," the statement of the Police Administration points out.
The announcement adds that the Cetinje police, in cooperation with the Budva police, searched the apartment and other facilities used by MK in Budva, and that marijuana and the so-called crusher.
The Police Administration said that the Cetinje police arrested SB (22) from Cetinje for a violation of the Law on the Prevention of Narcotic Drug Abuse.
"He was controlled in traffic by the police and during the inspection of the vehicle, a package containing marijuana was found," the statement concludes.
