The Tivat police arrested a person of security interest yesterday for possession of narcotics, the Police Administration announced.
As they stated, the Tivat police yesterday around 17.30:XNUMX p.m. controlled a person of security interest who threw away the drugs and left the scene, but that "with the quick action of members of the Tivat Security Department, he was deprived of his liberty."
"Yesterday, the police controlled a person of security interest, DH (33), a citizen of the Republic of Serbia with a temporary residence in Tivat, who was driving a VW Golf vehicle on that occasion," the announcement states.
They also add that during the control, DH walked away from the scene, throwing away three PVC packages, that one contained cocaine weighing about 8 grams and the other two contained marijuana.
He is charged with the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
Today, the suspect was brought to the state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction, and the found objects will be submitted to the Forensic Center for expert examination.
"In the coming period, police officers will intensify the planning activities that have already begun to suppress the street sale of drugs as well as any other form of drug abuse," the UP announced.
