The Beran police filed a criminal complaint against three people employed in the Forestry Administration on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "abuse of official position in co-perpetration", the Police Administration announced today.
The announcement adds that a criminal complaint was filed with the State Prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane against RN (54), Ž.V. (58) and TB (49) from Beran.
"The suspects committed the crime they are charged with as employees of the Forestry Administration - Berane Regional Unit, by dereliction of duty, enabling the illegal felling of forest by unknown persons in the Kaludarsko - Dapsićke Forests. It is suspected that since the beginning of October 2020 until the end of November 2020 enabled the illegal felling of the forest in the amount of 86 spruce trees with a total gross wood mass of 226,52 m3, 24 fir trees with a total gross wood mass of 84,10 m3 and five maple trees with a total gross wood mass of 8,39, 3 m36.497, where they obtained material benefits for themselves or others, i.e. caused damage to the Forestry Administration of Montenegro in the amount of XNUMX euros," the Police Administration said in a statement.
