The basic state prosecutor's office in Cetinje opened a case regarding the possible use of firearms in Cetinje on September 5, Duško Milanović, the head of that prosecutor's office, told "Vijesta".
This morning RTCG published an audio recording, on which, they say, the communication of the head of the Podgorica Security Center, Goran Jokić, can be heard, warning police members over the radio that gunshots could be heard at the barricade on Belvedere, during the protest in Cetinje on September 5, and saying them to access the protection procedure in situations when fire is opened on them.
"News" confirmed that it is an authentic police audio-recording documented in the Technique of the Police Administration.
The video allegedly testifies to the drama in the narrowness of the main road near the Auto-moto company at the blockade of demonstrators from the direction of Budva, where the fiercest resistance to the attempt to clear the barricades took place that morning.
There is no information on the audio recording about when the shooting took place, but according to UP data, it all took place fifteen minutes before 8 o'clock on Sunday morning.
In that period, "Vijesti" reporters, as well as journalists from other media, testified that shots were fired several times.
Part of the citizens, who opposed the enthronement of Joaniki in the Cetinje monastery, formed a barricade on the Belvedere on the Podgorica-Cetinje road on September 4. Approaching the capital, from the direction of Podgorica and Budva, the crowd blocked it in order to prevent the arrival of Patriarch Porfiri and the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the capital.
