The basic state prosecutor's office in Cetinje opened a case regarding the possible use of firearms in Cetinje on September 5, the head of that prosecutor's office told "Vijesta" Dusko Milanović.
Yesterday, on that occasion, the police conducted an investigation at the Belvedere - from the institution he manages Zoran Brđanin the questions why this was done only yesterday were not answered, i.e., whether and in which location they had searched for clues before.
For days, that institution has not answered the question - whether they are investigating whether and who fired a firearm at the cars in which their officers were passing the participants of the protest rally in Cetinje.
In the previous two days, on several social networks and portals, videos appeared on which bursts of gunfire can be heard, but also seen breaking through barricades placed on the main road.
Some misused the footage, publishing only the part from which it could be concluded that the police officers "attacked first", while others reported that a convoy of one of the assistant directors of the Police Directorate was shot at.
In the video provided to "Vijesti", a part of which was published by some media, two minutes of breaking through the barricades on the main road Budva - Cetinje were recorded, which was recorded on camera by one of the officers of the Police Administration.
In that video, you can see how police officers in a cordon, followed by a convoy of official cars, are trying to pass towards Cetinje and in front of them are demonstrators, a lot of smoke, burning tires... You can also hear gunshots...
That recording begins with the words - "Wait for him there", which are heard over the police radio link.
After that, through the same communication channel, it is heard - "Morača one for eleven", and then something indistinct is heard...
"We have a lot of pressure and an attack on Tara 6 and 7 here at the point, you know", can be heard over the Motorola, and then from the car from which they are filming, an officer says: "We have nowhere to go".
You can hear over the connection: "Okay, we heard, just take it easy, no panic if possible."
And then the answer: "Okay, okay, but we can barely hear each other, so that's why."
Almost at the same time, you can hear a crackling, and then someone reports via Motorola: "We have a crackling down in Polje, it's been heard now."
Immediately after - a burst of fire, and then someone over the connection issues a command for people to take cover so as not to be exposed, after which gunshots are heard in the distance.
Then the question posed to the two units - can they go further, and then the command:
"Morača 3, start suppressing that mass immediately. Sector 3, start suppressing that mass immediately, I prefer them than they do us, and then "Start immediately, so that they don't attack us, maybe they are planning something. Rumija 7 and you squeeze from that side when Sector 3 starts"...
On the RTCG portal, an audio recording was published yesterday, on which the communication of the head of the Podgorica Security Center can be heard Goran Jokić, who warns members of the police over the radio that bursts of gunfire can be heard at the barricade on Belvedere, during the Cetinje protest, and tells them to approach the protection procedure in situations where they are being fired upon.
"News" has confirmed that it is an authentic police audio-recording documented in the Technique of the Police Administration.
The video allegedly testifies to the drama in the highway strait near the Auto-moto company at the blockade of demonstrators from the direction of Budva, where the fiercest resistance to the attempt to clear the barricades took place that morning.
There is no information on the audio recording about when the shooting took place, but according to UP data, it all took place fifteen minutes before 8:XNUMX a.m. on Sunday morning.
"Vijesti" reporters, as well as journalists from other media, testified that shots were fired several times during that period.
On the video, first several shots are heard, and then a voice over the police link informs colleagues with the words: "We have the use of firearms or pyrotechnics on the vehicle at our position, we cannot assess."
After that, the head of the Operational Headquarters of the UP, Goran Jokić, joins the conversation, saying: "Pull the people first", and then a voice can be heard on the recording, stating - "This is a rifle".
After that, Jokić is heard again, asking: "Is it received?", followed by the answer - "Yes!"
On the video, Jokić speaks again, this time for a short time, and says "record", and then shots erupt again in the background, which is why one of the elders states through a Motorola: "The bursts are still going on"...
Immediately after that, Jokić orders in a calm tone: "Just protect the people."
On the video of the UP, the voice of the elder is again discernible, informing his colleagues: "We appreciate that we have to retreat", and then on the video it is indistinctly heard: "There are more firearms here"... and then Jokić joins the conversation, who orders: "Just take positions and don't move anywhere".
From the other side comes a short: "Okay".
On the audio recording, the Chief of the Operational Staff advises: "In case they shoot at you, protect everyone." You know how the use of weapons goes”.
The elder speaks again and says briefly: "Okay".
The "Vijesti" reporter heard gunfire on two occasions around 7,45:XNUMX a.m. on Sunday while he was in Mojkovačka Street near the "Eko Pumpe" at the very entrance to Prijestonica.
On Monday, "Vijesti" published unofficial information from the top of the security sector that shots were fired during the entry of the criminal police unit, led by one of the assistant directors of the UP, which was moving from the direction of Budva towards the Cetinje Monastery, and that the police are looking for evidence.
"Vijesti" was unofficially informed yesterday that they still do not have precise data on whether the police were shot with a firearm or evidence of whether and with what weapon the UP officers were attacked that morning.
"Vijesti" has asked the Police Directorate on several occasions whether the police are investigating whether and who shot at the cars and UP officials, but the official answer has not yet arrived.
"Vijesti" also asked the Special State Prosecutor's Office for information on whether it is verifying the information that a group of participants in the protest against the enthronement of Metropolitan Joaniki fired firearms at cars that were being driven by members of the Police Administration that day. That answer from SDT did not arrive either.
Part of the citizens, who opposed the enthronement of Joaniki in the Cetinje monastery, formed a barricade on September 4 at the Belvedere, on the Podgorica - Cetinje road. Approaching the capital, from the direction of Podgorica and Budva, the crowd blocked it in order to prevent the arrival of Patriarch Porfiri and the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the capital.
PCNN yesterday published a review of journalist Vuk Vujisić who reported from Cetinje last weekend.
The journalist reports that shots were heard while he was live broadcasting the events from Dvorski trg to Cetinje, where the crowd, led by Veljović, tried to break through the police cordon secured by the Cetinje monastery.
"Several shots rang out in Cetinje at that moment, which could also be heard in our live broadcast. It was clear that it was a burst of fire from weapons that the police at that position did not possess, but were equipped with tear gas and shock bombs, so I was overcome with chills and fear that there were armed conflicts at the barricades. After that, not much was known about the shootings, but every citizen of Cetinje and the policeman could hear them," explains the journalist.
