The police administration announced today that during September, the police in Podgorica arrested 11 people, three of whom were minors, for criminal offenses in the area of property crime and they were brought to the competent prosecutor along with criminal charges, while a criminal charge was filed against one person in the regular procedure.
The announcement states that LR (17) was arrested for three serious thefts against people from Podgorica, which he is suspected to have committed by stealing three bicycles from the entrance of residential buildings on three occasions.
"The bicycle is suspected to have been stolen by NJ (36) from the entrance of a residential building. A criminal complaint has been filed against her in the regular procedure due to the suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of theft," the announcement states.
The announcement adds that SM (15) was also arrested, who, it is added, in the company of another person who was driving the vehicle, blocked the path of the victim who was in the taxi, and stole 17 packs of different tobacco products from the trunk.
The police administration said that BB (35) was arrested for a serious theft committed in the Konik settlement in Podgorica.
"He stole an engine head and four batteries from a family home," the announcement reads.
The Police Administration also states that a device worth about 1.500 euros was stolen from a company in Podgorica.
"It is suspected that the perpetrator of this criminal act is SA (27), who has been deprived of his liberty," the announcement reads.
The police administration announced that VK (22) was also arrested for theft.
"He stole a large amount of electric cables from a warehouse owned by a natural person in the Masline settlement," the statement reads.
It is also stated that "serious theft committed to the detriment of a company from Podgorica is being blamed on BS (32) and EH (31) who, with the use of physical force, broke into the premises of this company and tried to steal a large amount of alcoholic beverages and a television. in which they were prevented by police officers and deprived of their freedom".
"Due to theft against a natural person from Podgorica, DA (74) was deprived of his liberty. He took advantage of the carelessness of the injured party and stole a wallet containing money and personal documents from an unlocked apartment," the statement reads.
The Police Directorate also said that "V.Š. (18) in the company of BL (17) broke into the family house of the injured person, from where they stole three watches and the key to a passenger motor vehicle that was parked near the house. and with which they headed in the direction of the city".
"On this occasion, they were spotted by police officers, but they did not stop at their signal, but ran away, after which they were deprived of their liberty. V.Š. is charged with the criminal offense of confiscating a vehicle, while both the person is charged with the criminal offense of theft", according to the Police Administration.
The announcement also states that the police also arrested D.Đ. (43) because of the suspicion that he stole glasses, prescription frames, perfumes and personal documents of a person from Podgorica from a vehicle in the parking lot.
