The interrogation of Ilir Đokaj, suspected of murdering his unmarried wife Šejla Bakija (19) and wounding her father Šaban Bakija (42), was completed at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
After the hearing, senior state prosecutor Ana Radović ordered him to be detained for up to 72 hours.
During that period, Đokaj will be brought before the investigating judge of the High Court in Podgorica.
His defense attorney, lawyer Srđa Lješković, told "Vijesta" earlier that Đokaj did not want to talk about the crime in front of the inspectors and that he defended himself by remaining silent.
Đokaj surrendered to the police after midnight last night, accompanied by a lawyer.
