The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) ordered the Special Police Department (SPO) to release police officers Aleksandar Bošković and Saša Đurović, who were arrested last night by order of the Basic State Prosecutor.
As stated in the announcement of the SDT, "the analysis of all the collected evidence assessed that there is no reasonable doubt that AB and S.Đ., who were previously, by order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, deprived of their liberty, committed the criminal offense of abuse of official position, so given an order to the Special Police Department to release the mentioned persons".
In the announcement of the SDT, it is added that due to the criminal complaint of the MP of the Law of Montenegro, Marko Milačić, case files were formed against Zoran Lazović (former assistant director of the Police Administration for the sector for the fight against organized crime and corruption), for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization.
"During the investigation of the aforementioned criminal report, this prosecutor's office collected certain data and documentation. According to the criminal report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - State Secretary of the Republic of Moldova (Rada Milošević), which was filed on October 13.10.2021, 14.10.2021, against an employee of the SI Police Administration, for the criminal offense of abuse official position, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica formed a case which, on October XNUMX, XNUMX, after collecting certain data, submitted it to this prosecutor's office for the purpose of assessing whether there is a criminal offense under the jurisdiction of the Special State Prosecutor's Office," the statement reads.
The SDT said that acting upon receipt of the aforementioned files, they ordered the Special Police Department to take a statement from Enis Baković, former assistant director of the Police Directorate, and that they requested certain documentation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Directorate.
"Analyzing all the collected evidence, it was assessed that there is no reasonable doubt that AB and S.Đ., who were previously deprived of their liberty by order of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, committed the criminal offense of abuse of official position, so an order was given to the Special Police Department to released. At the same time, we inform the public that the Special State Prosecutor's Office will continue the investigation process and the collection of necessary data and evidence in the aforementioned case, which has been consolidated, and will inform the public of the results in a timely manner," the SDT statement concludes.
