Lawyer Novaković announced his objection to the work of the Prosecutor's Office in response to the statement of prosecutor Milica Rmandić - that "there is no need" to review the footage from the video surveillance of the "Lukoil" gas station, which lasts for about 20 hours: "Because the accused did not even pass that way that day (toward the border crossing)".
After that, a part of the recording lasting about half an hour was played, which refers to the approximate time when the criminal offense was committed.
"All the prosecutors justify that they did not represent the prosecution from the beginning and often declare that they cannot testify even to the fact that in the previous proceedings, the evidence related to the video surveillance was presented extremely frivolously, just as all the prosecutors acted in this case - extremely frivolous", said Novaković.
The video that was viewed did not record the movement of the white "Golf II", with which, according to the indictment, Memic committed the crime of aggravated murder.
The defense attorney of the defendant, lawyer Kasim Dizdarević, said that there is no record of who took out the video footage and whether it was done according to the Criminal Code, as well as no data on whether the system time coincides with the real time.
Memic previously denied that he killed the policeman, claiming that that day he returned from Podgorica via the Dobrakovo border crossing near Bijelo Polje, but that he crossed the checkpoint on foot and then continued as a passenger in the "Golf III", which was driven by his brother. Bahruddin.
Five months after the accident, Memic was arrested in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from where he was extradited to Montenegro on December 8, 2017, which wanted him with an international warrant for the serious murder of Kujović.
