Katnić on the case of Bulatović: For now, the facts indicate that a suicide occurred

Chief Special State Prosecutor Milovoje Katnić announced today at a conference of the SDT and the Police Administration that it is not yet possible to say whether former ANB official Luka Bulatović killed himself, or if something else was involved.

He said that it is not yet possible to determine whether that event is connected to the wiretapping of his office.

"For now, the facts that exist indicate that, unfortunately, it was a suicide, but that is not the end. We have more evidence to analyze," he said, referring to the victim Bulatović.

He explained that the police officers at the spot, where Bulatović was found dead, found evidence that could be within the jurisdiction of the SDT.

He said that the police officers found a message to urgently inform the head of the Special Police Team, Dragan Radonjić, and he, Katnić, that they were in the computer that left the messages for him.

He explained that they found all the messages - the ones he left to be read, but also the ones he deleted.

Katnić said that based on his assessment, Bulatović spoke about saving his life and the life of Dragan Radonjić.

"They couldn't hear much, except for the theater that I conducted... what I and Mr. Radonjić did, they couldn't hear, the music bothered them," said Katnić.

Katnić said that by publishing the recordings left by the late Bulatović, no criminal offense was committed and that no investigation was jeopardized.

We also found letters that Bulatović deleted.

If the special prosecutor is a problem for Europe, I will leave immediately, said Katnić.

He said that Bulatović was his friend, and that if the case was declassified, he would publish the video that was left for him.
