The hearing to control the indictment against the former director of the Real Estate Administration Dragan Kovačević and members of the criminal organization, which he formed for the purpose of appropriating valuable plots "on the foam of the sea", was postponed today to November 19 in the High Court in Podgorica due to the absence of one of the defendants' lawyers.
At the beginning of October, the Kingdom of Denmark extradited Aleksandar Boljević to Montenegro to the judicial authorities, against whom criminal proceedings are being conducted for membership in the criminal organization of the former director of the Real Estate Administration, Dragan Kovačević, and the criminal offense of extortion.
In addition to Kovačević, who is on the run, those accused of illegally appropriating state land in the Morski dobr zone are Ana Lakićević-Grdinić, Veselin Tomašević, Krsto Pavićević, Goran Tufegdžić, Danilo Jovanović, Danko Kovačević, Sanja Popović, Aleksandar Boljević and a company from Podgorica. They are charged with abuse of official position, abuse of official position in business operations, extortion, extortion by aiding and abetting, illegal occupation of land, inducement to certify untrue content, falsification of documents, evasion of taxes and contributions.
