Slovenia: The Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against 24 members of the Kavac clan

The Slovenian prosecutor's office filed an indictment against 24 members of the local cell of the infamous and criminal Kavački clan, local media reported, stating that the trial of that criminal group is expected to begin in February 2022.

Dnevnik.si announced that the prosecution wrote the indictment on more than 500 pages.

That media also states that the alleged members of the Kavaka clan are accused of drug trafficking.

Among the accused, one witness is repentant, and two are cooperating witnesses. The news previously published the details of the criminal complaint written in May, when the local police broke up a cell of the Kavac clan operating in Slovenia and arrested dozens of people suspected of having smuggled at least 790 kilograms of cocaine, weapons, and illegal transferred 5,6 million euros in cash from Spain to Belgrade.

According to the documentation from the investigation, which "Vijesti" had access to, the local police also obtained encrypted communication between several suspects, which also shows who was in charge of transporting drugs to Spain for the kavak clan, from where they smuggled them to European Union countries.

According to those documents, Slovenians suspect Milan Vujotić from Podgorica that on an unspecified day in 2018 he "allowed" Filip Vrzić to establish a cell of the Kavača clan in Slovenia.

Vujotić, who they claim was nicknamed "Lavitese" on the Sky application, and Igor Božović, an alleged resident of Kavac, were once hiding in Slovenia, in the vicinity of the Danube, according to the documents.

Vujotić previously denied the allegations from the investigation there.
