The Mojkovac police detained three people yesterday, who were suspected of being with hunting equipment and dogs at the very border of the National Park (NP) Biogradska gora, "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
Allegedly, those arrested were previously known to the police as poachers.
The NP previously announced that the lack of a protective zone around the NP is a big problem.
They explained that poachers let hunting dogs into the Biograd forest, in order to drive wild game out of the park.
The police have not yet identified the three-member group of poachers who killed a deer in the middle of the National Park on November 14.

When the Park supervisor encountered them, the poachers left a rifle and a vest behind, next to the killed animal.
