Verdict for the murder of Dragica Selimović on December 24

On Friday, December 24, the verdict will be pronounced in the Bjelopolje High Court Damir Selimović (24) and Danko Božović (24), accused of aggravated self-interest murder Dragice Selimović i Jašar Selimović (29) who is on trial for failure to report the perpetrators of the crime and illegal possession of weapons.

This was announced yesterday after the end of the search, which was reopened due to the hearing of the prison doctor Dr Miloš Šaponjić.

According to the indictment of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office, Damir Selimović and Božović killed Dragica Selimović on October 26 last year and stole 5.000 euros.

The prison doctor said that he examined the accused in prison, that they expressed the need for medication, but that at the entrance to the prison, there were no signs of abstinence crisis (sweating, trembling, palpitations...).

Božović's lawyer, a lawyer, objected to such a statement Gordana Femic, reminding that Božović's PAS test revealed the presence of several types of narcotic drugs, which is why he could not be heard in the Prosecutor's Office the day before.

She also said that the existence of an abstinence crisis was pointed out by a neuropsychiatrist Gordana Konatar.

State prosecutor Milica Rmandic earlier, in her closing words, she pointed out that Damir Selimović and Božović admitted that they had agreed to take new ones from Dragica, but none of them admitted any action towards the injured party, shifting the blame to each other, which was calculated to avoid criminal responsibility.

She pointed to Damir Selimović's statement that Božović kicked the victim.

Nenad Selimović said that the accused "deserve the gallows" for what they did to his wife.

Representative of the injured family, lawyer Vidomir Bosković, asserted that it was proven that the accused committed the act out of self-interest.

Defendant Damir Selimović, lawyer Danilo Radenović, he reminded that the injured party had injuries that collectively represent a serious, life-threatening bodily injury.

He, recalling the findings of the expert, said that it is about the "psychopathically structured personality of the accused, who functions at the level of borderline intelligence, on the borderline between dull and easily mentally ill".

Defendant Jašar Selimović, lawyer Kasim Dizdarević he pointed out that it was not proven that his client had committed the criminal offense charged against him.
