A long-standing neighborly conflict over property ended fatally yesterday - twenty-nine-year-old Rožajac Semir Murić he was killed in his hometown, and a policeman Refik Dedeic he was wounded while trying to prevent it Edmir Ramović (19) to shoot a fellow citizen.
The fire attack took place in front of the Basic Court building in the town of Hajlo.
Ramović was arrested immediately after the shooting, and the police also handcuffed his uncle Sabr Ramović, from whom they took a gun and a knife.
Allegedly, both of them came armed in front of the courthouse.
The Police Administration unofficially told "Vijesta" that Ramović first wounded a policeman, and then Murić, who died of his injuries on the way to the hospital.
"A colleague tried to prevent the attack, that is, to take the gun from Ramović, but he was wounded during the intervention," said the interlocutor from that security institution.
Dedić, who was hit in the leg by a bullet, was transported to Beran General Hospital, where he was treated.
Head of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje Mirko Bulatović last night he told "Vijesti" that the senior state prosecutor was on duty Tanja Nišavić during the investigation, she excluded traces, but also took all other measures and actions within her jurisdiction.
Argument, fight, then shooting
The Police Administration officially announced that after a verbal and physical conflict, around 11.15:XNUMX a.m., a firearm was used "to the detriment of one person and a police officer who was on duty."
"There was a verbal and physical conflict, after which ER (19) used a firearm, during which SM (29) received injuries, as a result of which he died. During the intervention, an officer of the RD Police Administration, who was on duty, received injuries from a firearm in the leg area and his life is not in danger. ER was detained on the spot, and at the same time several people were detained in connection with this event", explained the UP.
In the statement, they also wrote that they informed the prosecutor on duty at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje about the incident, that an investigation was carried out and the gun that killed Murić and wounded Dedeić was seized.
"Also, on this occasion, members of the police found and confiscated a gun and a knife from the person of SR, who was taken into custody," the police statement reads.
They were also reconciled by the peace council
A well-informed source of "Vijesti" said that the conflict between the Murić and Ramović families has been going on for years, and that even the Peace Council's efforts to smooth over the relationship were in vain.
"They are the first neighbors, and they have been arguing for years because of unresolved property relations. The conflict over property escalated a few months ago, when they fought with fists, sticks and axes. And the Peace Council tried to smooth over their relationship, but in vain," said that Rožajac.
The peace council, which operates in Rožaje, gathers respectable people who, in addition to authority and a sense of justice, must also have a lot of wisdom and patience for hours and days of negotiations with the conflicting parties.
"Neither the Peace Council nor regular courts helped Murić and Ramović. I'm afraid that now it's too late for any story, especially the late reaction of the special police forces that arrived in Rožaje around 16 p.m.," said the same interlocutor.
He added that there are several proceedings before the court in which members of the Murić and Ramović families have opposing sides. One of them was scheduled yesterday at 11 o'clock.
Although the initial information was that Ramović shot in the direction of Murić immediately after arriving in front of the court building, another source said that the twenty-nine-year-old was killed when he left the trial.
An internal investigation into an oversight?
During the investigation of the murder of Murić and the wounding of police officer Dedeić, the authorities will have to determine how the two Ramovićs were armed in front of the Basic Court building, an interlocutor involved in the investigation told "Vijesti".
He said that, considering the long-standing conflict between the Murić and Ramović families, security before, during and the announced trial had to be at a high level.
"Yesterday they also had a scheduled trial, and the investigation will have to determine why the Ramovićs came to the court armed and how it was not noticed. Internal, which will be led by the police, because they secured the court building, but also the investigation of the competent authorities. It will have to be determined whether someone made an error," said the same interlocutor.
