Will Vujic be tried in absentia?

Yesterday, the trial was postponed in the High Court in Podgorica Zoran Mrvaljević from Herceg Novi, accused of being the organizer of a criminal group that was preparing the murder of a fellow citizen Nemanja Zurovec.

Apart from Mrvaljević, they are on the indictment Krsto Vujić, Free Vico i Jovan Riznić, who are charged with the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, while Mrvaljević is charged with murder by instigation and drug smuggling.

In that case Milan Kankaraš he was given the status of an associate witness, on whose testimony the indictment is based.

As reported, he admitted that he was a member of the group and explained how the roles and tasks were divided, as well as that he worked for Mrvaljević.

As an independent consultant for public relations told "Vijesta". Marija Raković, the Special State Prosecutor's Office proposed to the court that the defendant Krsto Vujić be tried in absentia.

The case files will be submitted to the court panel to decide on the proposal.

"ZM is suspected of having created a criminal organization on the territory of Montenegro, which in the period from 2018, in the territory of the municipality of Herceg Novi, dealt with the possession, transfer and sale of intoxicating drugs cocaine and marijuana in large quantities. Also, the named person is suspected of inciting the suspect KM to commit the criminal offense of murder at the expense of ZN at the beginning of 2019 in Herceg Novi, and on that occasion obtained a pistol of an unknown brand," the Police Directorate announced after the extradition of Mrvaljević.

Except in this case, the defendant Vujić is accused of participating in the murder Scepan Roganovic in Herceg Novi on February 13, 2020, on the staircase near Kanli Tower.

For the murder of Roganović, apart from Krsto Vujić, the accused were Mili Bajramović, Miloš Komar, Dino Ibrahimović i Igor Glavaš.
