Illegal and unadjusted speed to the road conditions was the cause of the traffic accident on August 23 last year, when Dijana Grdinić from Mojkovac was killed.
This is what the traffic expert Milinko Čabarkapa said today in his report in the Bjelo Polje High Court, in which her fellow citizen Milan Obradović (30) is being held accountable for the criminal offense of a serious crime against the safety of public traffic.
According to the indictment, on August 23 last year, at around 4.30:XNUMX a.m., Obradović, driving a Nissan vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drove off the road, disobeying traffic regulations and the prescribed speed, killing his passenger, Dijana Grdinić.
The expert said that there was no concrete fence on that part of the road, which was on other parts of the bridge, from where the Nissan vehicle fell into the dry river bed.
"If there had been a metal fence on the bridge, as provided for by EU standards, the impact and speed of the "Nissan" falling into the dry bed of the Tara River would have been amortized," said expert Čabarkapa.
Zoran Grdinić, the father of the deceased Dijana, claimed that before the arrival of the police, someone moved his daughter's body from the passenger seat to the driver's seat.
Medical expert Dr. Nemanja Radojević did not attend yesterday's hearing, so a new hearing is scheduled for March 3.
