That's what he told "Vijesti" yesterday Milivoje Katnic whose mandate at the head of the Special State Prosecutor's Office ended by the decision of the Prosecutor's Council, because he had acquired the conditions for an old-age pension.
The day before yesterday, the chief special prosecutor announced that he would first request the data from the PIO Fund, which allegedly established that he had acquired the condition for a pension.
He added that after that he will decide what he will do, including whether he will file a lawsuit for forced retirement.
"Ah, something has to be done," he said.
After 2.432 days spent as chief special prosecutor, Katnić's mandate was terminated, but according to the law, she can perform other tasks in one or another institution.
The former military personnel and long-time judge of the Court of Appeals was elected to the position of GST on June 23, 2015, and from June 26, 2020, he spent his second term at the head of the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
His termination of office was established based on a letter from the PIO Fund, which stated in the notification that he "has acquired the conditions for an old-age pension because he has 41 years and 4 months of service"...

Accused banker Dusko Knezevic announced that the Prosecutor's Council had done the most important work, and then, with a volley of insults at Katnić's account, wrote that he was "the main contractor in the criminal clan of Milo Đukanović".
"That's why I expect the recently retired special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić to be brought to justice and prosecuted for countless abuses of his position and shameful actions in the SDT, which caused a great stain on Montenegro. I hope that justice will knock on the door of the leader of the Milo Đukanović clan, and not allow him to retire peacefully," Katnić's statement reads.
He accused Katnić of protecting the pharmaceutical and drug mafia.
"For more than three years, I have been a witness to the brutal repression of Milivoj Katnić, as a consistent executor of the orders of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović. The special prosecutor's political montage began with the arrest of Atlas Group drivers, in the fall of 2017, for alleged 'money laundering' (the same drivers were acquitted of all responsibility two years later). The prosecution against me began after I categorically refused his offer to testify falsely that the money was for the Democratic Front in the case of a 'coup d'état', and in return he would drop the process against me. And he knew very well that the money was going to DPS, like a regular racket before the elections. "I had a premonition that a fierce political shooting and a hellish plan of the criminalized authorities to 'package' indictments on me through their henchman Milivoj Katnić for several fabricated crimes, with undisguised intentions to illegally steal my property, took refuge in London," he announced. is Knežević.
He claims that the direct initiators of his persecution are "Milo Đukanović and his brother Aco, and the criminalized structures around them".
"They started their octopus and through the special prosecutor, the commercial court and the central bank destroyed the Atlas group, declared me a criminal, in order to get the property that I created for 30 years. They destroyed two banks, all in order to strengthen their empire and take over the valuable assets of the Atlas Group through criminal clans. Milivoje Katnić, acting as Milo's 'special prosecutor', fabricated the most absurd accusations against me"...
Announced criminal charges
Yesterday, Katnić wrote to the director of the Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance, Ranko Aligrudić, explaining that he was informed by the media that this very institution submitted documents to the Prosecutor's Council on February 16 and 17, from which it follows that the Fund cumulatively processed the insurance experience and the insurance experience with increased duration:
"For the period when I performed civilian duties and while I was an active military person, and that taxes and contributions were paid to me in accordance with the regulations in force at the time, I hereby address you that within 3 days from of receiving this act, and no later than February 28.02.2022, 01.09.1985. of the year (due to exercising the right to old-age pension), please submit a tax report by years for the time period from 17.02.2022 to 12. years of the following data - how many effective years of insurance I have (I note insurance years, not pension years), how many years of increased insurance I have (by years and degrees of increase), amounts of paid taxes and contributions for effective years of insurance (by years), amounts of taxes paid and contributions for the insurance period with increased duration (individually by years and individually by degrees of increase 14/12, 15/12, 16/XNUMX)", the letter says.
Katnić noted that when submitting these data, it is necessary to act in accordance with the certificate from June 2021, the reasons for termination from the decision of the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare.
"Otherwise (I will) consider that by submitting the documents in question to the Prosecutor's Council, you and your employees, by processing data for which you are not competent, and by submitting data from the ongoing administrative procedure, have abused your official position, which would directly cause damage to me, because of which I would be forced to file criminal charges against you and your employees to the competent state prosecutor's office," said Katnić.
HRA: Disputable issues to be regulated by law
If the media information is correct that the decision for the former chief special prosecutor in the administrative proceedings was not final, the Prosecutor's Council should stop the proceedings until the factual situation is fully established.
This was announced by the NGO Action for Human Rights (HRA), adding that the Judicial and Prosecutorial Council should not decide if the previous issues have not been finally resolved in the administrative procedure, i.e. the court case.
"Such an obligation should be urgently prescribed by law, as well as the urgency of deciding in an administrative dispute against the decisions of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Council".
