Cetinje police officers arrested three people suspected of theft and abuse of narcotic drugs.
As announced by the Police Administration, acting according to planned activities, as well as on the basis of operational knowledge, police officers arrested MO (22) from Beran, whom the police controlled as a passenger in a taxi and allegedly found 686,2 grams of marijuana.
"FK (25), who was driving a vehicle with Podgorica license plates, was also checked in Cetinje, and 20,6 grams of the narcotic drug cocaine were found in his possession," the announcement states.
It is added that SM (42), suspected of serious theft, was also arrested in Cetinje.
"SM (42) from that city was caught in the act of committing a criminal offense when he tried to forcibly enter the interior of a retail store in Baja Pivljanina Street. With the quick reaction of police officers, he was deprived of his liberty. The competent prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje was introduced, who qualified as the criminal offense of aggravated theft. After the arrest, the prosecutor ordered this person to be detained for up to 72 hours," the Police Administration said in a statement.
