Due to the accusation that they committed a criminal offense as co-perpetrators - unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, the senior state prosecutor Tanja Božović she filed an indictment against MS from Budva employed as a tax administrator in the Municipality of Budva and a citizen of Albania MG
They are accused of producing marijuana for resale from an unspecified date until September 30, 2021, in the Markovići settlement in Budva.
"In the way that according to the previous agreement, in the village of M. (Markovići), near the house where MG lives, they planted a large quantity of the seeds of the mentioned narcotic drug, which GM then watered, while MS was informed, followed the development and growth of the stems of the marijuana in question and sought buyers for the same," the indictment reads.
According to reports, they were prevented from further production on September 30, when police officers of the Police Administration - Budva Security Center found and confiscated 119 sprouted stems of the hemp plant on the plot.
"Which contained tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a concentration above 0,2%, and how the defendants produced the narcotic drug hemp, with a total net weight of 11.272,37 grams," the indictment reads.
After they were arrested, the Police Directorate officially announced that the officers of the Criminal Police of the Budva Security Center in cooperation with the Officers of the sector for fighting crime and the Higher State Prosecutor's Office formed the case "Viewpoint", which was carried out on September 30 last year.
"By searching apartments in two locations and investigating the very marijuana plantation in Markovići, where 119 stems in an advanced flowering stage were found and confiscated," the UP announced at the time.
Inspectors found the marijuana plantation on inaccessible terrain, under the local cemetery.
