The Podgorica police arrested four people who are charged with criminal offenses in the area of property crime, the Police Administration (UP) announced today.
The statement added that JL (21) was arrested on suspicion of aggravated theft and theft.
"In a room in the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), he broke into a closet and ransacked it. It is also suspected that he stole money in the amount of 500 euros from an unlocked apartment," the UP statement points out.
The UP added that the Podgorica police arrested DN (40) at the scene of the serious theft, who broke the window of a house, ransacked the interior, but was prevented from attempting to steal items by the reaction of the police.
It is stated that ER (28) and VB (23) were also arrested for 12 serious thefts committed to the detriment of several companies and persons from the territory of the Capital City.
"They were brought to the acting state prosecutor for further jurisdiction," said the UP.
It is also stated that the police, conducting a criminal investigation, came to suspect that ER and VB broke into passenger cars, business premises of companies, a clinic, a beauty and hair salon, a sports betting shop and a market from March 17 to 23 and stole more laptops, TV, 3.250 euros, various types of tools, technical and electrical devices, a large quantity of alcoholic beverages, confectionery and cosmetics.
"During the undertaking of police measures and actions with the aim of elucidating the aforementioned criminal acts, the officers seized from LL a passenger motor vehicle with foreign license plates, which is suspected to have been used during the commission of the criminal acts," concludes the statement of the UP.
