The insiders claim that bringing the suspect Medenica by car, and not by "car" as it is usually done, could only have been approved by one of the senior officers of the Police Administration, and that officers from CB Podgorica were not allowed to do that without the approval from the top.

According to police procedures, Medenica did not have to be brought to the SDT building for special treatment, because she was not registered as a security-interested person (BIL) in the UP documents, and there is no information that she is in any danger to her life or body. .

According to the Rulebook on the manner of performing police work, apprehension is carried out by a special police vehicle, the so-called military uniforms, except in exceptional situations, when the security assessment or special security reasons dictate it...

Attorney Veselin Radulović considers that the treatment of individuals in this case alone may not prove that some procedure was violated, but it may indicate unequal treatment.

"In this connection, it is important to point out that UP officers are obliged to deal with the persons they bring and detain in a way that will not threaten their dignity or humiliate them in any way, that is, use any means that are not necessary in order to performed official action. Unfortunately, we had the opportunity to see the behavior of the UP when those rules were not respected, so we also had cases where the UP recorded some actions, and then delivered those recordings to the media. This pointed to the conclusion that those actions were not aimed at the performance of official duties and that the possible goal was to humiliate the person who was brought in and arrested, and that should not happen regardless of who it is," said Radulović to "Vijesta ".
