The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Podgorica opened a case regarding the audio recordings on which you can hear the details of the police action in Cetinje on September 4 and 5 last year.
"The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, on the occasion of the audio recording published by the electronic media, formed a criminal case in order to establish the basis of suspicion that a criminal offense has been committed, for which it is being prosecuted ex officio", said the spokesman of ODT Podgorica Vukas Radonjić to "Vijestima".
Acting Supreme State Prosecutor Maja Jovanović ordered the Podgorica ODT to file a case.
She stated in the statement that the audio recordings were submitted to VDT by civil activist Aleksandar Zeković.
Zeković previously announced that he received an email from an unknown sender with audio recordings that, according to him, indicate that the commander of the Anti-Terrorism Unit of the Police Administration, Petar Knežević, committed a criminal offense. He informed the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office, Interior Minister Filip Adžić and Defense Minister Raško Konjević about this.
"Kept the Nikšić group, the Bjelopolje, Beran, Novlja and Bar groups - all the criminals on the phone. We're going, we need you, we're ready, God forbid if they don't release the patriarch, we're going to set fire to Cetinje..." "...We went, we conquered there Cetinje, we didn't conquer it, but we cleaned up the dredging there and finished it...", can be heard, among other things, on the recording.
"...Pops are easy to talk to. And on that day, Miloš and I will talk when the moment comes for it on television - what kind of individual faces they were. They are not ashamed to wear a tie and a suit. Those were the slimes of one. Your assistant is told by one of the most famous people, not the most famous people, God forbid, but the most important people that night, he sits down in front of 20 people and says "I'm still a Rakonjac, so and so, watch what you say", and he says: "What are you talking about?" , don't let me rip out your throat, go"... So tomorrow they are coming to the last slave to kiss with us there. They also tell you fairy tales and fables..." says the person from the video, who is said to be Knežević.
The department for internal control of the work of the Police Administration - Ministry of Internal Affairs created the case in order to establish the facts of Knežević's possible responsibility during the procedure.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Filip Adžić, said that Knežević "will face legal consequences if it is determined that the video is authentic.
