"We were celebrating the victory, I didn't move from the cafe"

Pljevljak Ivan the Bloody (24) does not admit that the day after the parliamentary elections in 2020 he committed the criminal offense of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, nor that he incited violence and hatred against fellow citizens of Muslim nationality.

Yesterday, in the courtroom of the High Court in Bjelopolje, he denied the accusations that on August 31 of that year, in Pljevlje, he incited violence and hatred towards fellow citizens of Muslim nationality.

According to the indictment, that day, around 16:XNUMX p.m., he drove his car through Ulica oslobođenja, carrying the flag of Serbia, and two hours later along Podgorica Street, where a large number of members of the Muslim nationality live:

"And at the moment when they were in the yard of a house Nuria i Emir Pilav, Mehmed Kazaz i Behudin Idrizović, and on the terrace Admir Kazaz, saying 'move', by which he committed the criminal act in question", the indictment reads.

Krvavac is being tried in a retrial, after the Court of Appeal annulled the first-instance decision by which he was sentenced to three months in prison.

In the courtroom yesterday, he repeated that "there are no points of contact" with the criminal offense he was charged with.

"I was with my brother that whole day By Bojan and comrades in the cafe, where we celebrated the victory and from where we did not move, for which we have photos", said Krvavac.

Answering the questions of the representative of the injured party, the lawyer Kasim Dizdarević - did he transmit any announcements related to the elections on social networks that day, he answered in the negative.

He also said that he was not aware that his brother had advertised on that occasion Bojan Krvavac, who was on the Democrats' parliamentary list.

He also answered in the affirmative to the question of whether the president of the Democrats came to Pljevlja a day or two after the election in connection with that case. Aleksa Becic, and he also said that he did not talk to him.

Yesterday, the statements of the victims were read, after the judge Dragan Mrdak rejected the proposal of attorney Dizdarević to be heard directly, explaining that this was not required by the annulment decision of the Court of Appeal.

The trial continues on June 21, when the accused's brother will be heard.
