The Police Directorate (UP) announced that the person who was reported by the Acting Director of the State Archives of Montenegro Danilo Mrvaljević for endangering security was arrested.
The announcement states that it is GM (37) from Budva.
Mrvaljević announced yesterday that he was attacked in front of his house on June 28, and that the assailant hit his mother and referred to the Minister of the Interior, Filip Adžić.
"On June 28, the officers of the Cetinje Security Department, after learning and collecting information from Danilo Mrvaljević at the Podgorica Security Center, undertook activities within their jurisdiction and in a short period of time located and detained GM (37) from Budva on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of endangering security. The state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje was informed about the incident, and GM was deprived of his liberty on June 29 in Budva, after which he was taken to the Cetinje Security Department," the UP statement points out.
The announcement adds that after hearing with the prosecutor, he was detained, and then the investigating judge GM ordered detention and he was taken to the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS).
"A new procedure is underway regarding the assessment of Danilo Mrvaljević's level of endangerment, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Police Directorate has acted professionally and legally in this case as well," concludes the statement of the UP.
