Veselin Vukotić, Božo Mihailović, Đorđije Rajković, Sead Šahman, Duško Perović and Anica Hajduković were arrested in the investigation of the operations of the state company "13. jul Plantaže".
The Special State Prosecutor's Office announced that former members of the Board of Directors of Plantaž were arrested on the order of special prosecutor Vukas Radonjić.
"Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of abuse of position in business operations from Article 272 paragraph 3 in relation to paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro, because, as members of the board of directors, they made a decision to conclude a harmful contract on out-of-court settlement, between the injured company "13. Jul - Plantaže" AD and "OMP Engineering" from Podgorica, the partial execution of which caused damage to the injured company, and "OMP Engineering" received a benefit," he states. in the announcement of SDT.
It is added that the suspects will be taken to the Special State Prosecutor's Office for questioning within the legal term.
The Police Administration announced earlier that this morning, on the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, their officers arrested six former members of the Board of Directors of "Plantaža".
"VV, BM, Đ.R., S.Š., DP and AH were deprived of their liberty due to the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of abuse of official position in business operations," the statement of the UP states.
Members of the Special Police Department conducted searches at several locations where, as it is added, several tens of thousands of euros were seized.
"Officials of the Police Administration, in cooperation with the Special State Prosecutor's Office, continue their activities in this case, which the public will be informed about in a timely manner," the announcement states.

Vukotić is the former president of the Board of Directors of Plantaž, a professor at the Faculty of Economics and the founder of the University of Donja Gorica.
Mihailović was also the president of the company's Board of Directors, and he is a professor at the Faculty of Economics.
Rajković is a former director of Plantaž and a member of the Board of Directors of Plantaž.
Perović is a former member of the Plantaž Board of Directors and former director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.
Šahman was previously on the Board of Directors in front of the Employment Agency.
Hajduković was the marketing director of this state-owned company for many years and was a member of the Board of Directors.
