Police officer Novak Mugoša was seriously wounded in the night between Saturday and Sunday, three hours after midnight, in a fight in the discotheque "Habana" in Sutomor.
He underwent emergency surgery last night.
His colleagues Saša Sekulić and Veselin Milošević suffered minor injuries in the same incident.
The Police Directorate previously told "Vijesti" only that three police officers were injured when they got involved in the incident in that bar.
According to "Vijesti" information, the police officers, who were not on official duty, reacted after a group of men from Novi Pazar started harassing several girls who were in the same bar.
Allegedly, one of the guests of the bar took out a knife and seriously wounded Mugoša.
According to "Vijesti" information, the police are determining what happened in the bar where their colleagues were wounded, but also whether they were guests or security guards in that discotheque.
According to one version, all three policemen were guests of that bar, and according to another, they were employed as security guards in that facility.
The information that they worked as security in "Habana", however, has not been officially confirmed.
The police administration officially announced this evening that its officers are intensively searching for a person who committed a serious crime against life and limb in the early hours of the morning in a restaurant in an attempt to harm three police officers, who were not on duty at the time of the crime.
"The on-call service of the Bar Security Center was notified around 3.15:31 a.m. that there was a disturbance of public order and peace in a restaurant with a fight in which two people were injured in the form of stab wounds with a sharp object, and that they were transported to the General Hospital in Bar. On the face an investigation was carried out, and through the activities undertaken, the police came to know that AH, AB, BB, HR and EB, while they were in the catering establishment, got into a verbal conflict with women, and that the police officers, who were not at the time duties, VM (22), NM (49) and SS (25), all from Podgorica, tried to prevent further conflict. On that occasion, AH (10) from Germany, living in Novi Pazar, took out a XNUMX cm long blade and inflicted several stab wounds wounded VM and NM, after which he ran away. NM suffered life-threatening injuries," the statement of the Police Directorate points out
The statement adds that the police located the participants of the aforementioned event, AB, BB, HR and EB, from whom information was collected, and that the police are intensively searching for AH, who is charged with the criminal offense of aggravated attempted murder.
"The state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has been informed of all actions taken," the statement concludes.
