The Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica opened a case regarding the published transcripts in the media, which refer to the conversation about the murder of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, the institution announced.
"In the further course of the procedure, all necessary measures and actions will be taken in order to check the media allegations and establish all the facts, after which a decision will be made in the case," announced the head of the prosecution, Lepa Medenica.
M portal today published a correspondence from the Sky application from 2020 of alleged members of the Škaljar clan, Srđan Vukić and Zlatko Drašković, discussing the murder of Đukanović.
The head of the Club of Deputies of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Danijel Živković, said that, based on the materials published today, it can be unequivocally established that there were plans for the liquidation of Đukanović.
He said that this is the last alarm to involve the security sector and the prosecutor's office in the complete case. Otherwise, everything that may happen in Montenegro in the coming period will be their direct responsibility, he stated.
